Top Three Things Jackson Likes About Mommy

Jackson and I snuggled in his bed tonight talking like we do on a lot of nights.  Our conversation turned to him listing the top three things he likes about me.  Here is what he said:

Number 3 (yes, he was clear that he started from the bottom!) -
"You make really good birthday parties."

Number 2
"You always tell me the truth.  When I ask you about something, you tell me the truth."

Number 1
"You love me no matter what I do."

Wow.  I couldn't have anything better said about me -- EVER.  I knew that I had to record this conversation because his words mean so much to me.

Jackson, you are exactly right.  I will always be your truth.  And, I will always love you no matter what - in the good times and the bad.  It doesn't matter what goes on in your life -- I will always love you.  And, I'm so glad that you love your birthday parties.  I love making them special for you, because you are very special to me.  I am a very blessed person because God made me your mom.  I tell you that you are my favorite little boy in the entire world, and you will always be my favorite little boy.  I love you!

Arwyn wants to be a pig so she can have a curly tail.
Joseph want s to be a cow so he can play all day.
Sydney wants to be a horse so she can be blue.
Myles wants to be a horse so he could give people rides.
Lauren wants to be a horse because she wound not have to sit down to go potty. : )

Yes.  My daughter wants to be a horse so that she would not have to sit down to go potty.  I'm a proud mommy!

More from Lauren's 4th Birthday

As I finished making the last post for Lauren's 4th birthday, I was disappointed that I had so few of pictures from her party.  After I hit post, I found more!  Instead of going back and adding to the last post, it is A LOT faster to just make a new one!  So, here's more!

The birthday girl!  I included several from the series.  The next several pictures describe Lauren well.  Look at her posing!

More of the decorations.  By the way - what looks like bright pink, is really more of a baby pink or a slight shade darker.  For some reason, the flash just made that pink look like hot pink.  Hot pink is not acceptable for Lauren!  She likes LIGHT pink.

I made chocolate pretzels.  I always wanted to try chocolate molds.  Let's just say that I have now tried them.  Not sure if I will do it again!

Chocolate molds and Oreos.  They were yummy!

Once again, this was light pink!  Strange, huh?

Here's Lauren with Avery.  They call each other sisters.  Lauren is so lucky to have Avery in her life.  They are together ALL of the time with Avery being next door.

Before the party, Mama J and Papa J gave Lauren her birthday present.  Lauren asked them for a necklace, a bracelet, and a ring.  She wanted them to have a heart.  AND, she wanted them to be real.  She knew exactly what she wanted, and was not afraid to tell them!!  They gave her a James Avery set of a heart necklace, a bracelet, and a ring.

Mama J put the jewelry on Lauren.

Here's Lauren playing pin the crown on the princess.

Honey and Poppa sent a card that had these Minnie ears in them.  Too cute!
